Forestville, CA – The Davingy Art team is proud to announce that one of David McGraw’s “Psychopop” sculptures will be exhibited at the Healdsburg Center for the Arts’ “An Abstract Vision” show from April 4 through May 30, 2026.
“An Abstract Vision: An Exhibition of Contemporary Abstract Art” includes a reception held in the gallery, located at 334 Center Street in Healdsburg, CA, on April 11, 2026 from 4-6 pm.
The psychopops series is Davingy’s democratic offering: contemporary sculptures scaled and priced for both private homes and gallery settings. These abstract constructions often include figurative elements. The works invite a reciprocal encounter, appearing to return the viewer’s gaze. The visible mechanics of fabrication – exposed joins, fractured surfaces, and color flashes – become a language referencing the tools and processes used to create them. Approachable, often humorous, and freestanding, the sculptures possess an avant-garde insistence, demanding contemplation and close attention even as they resist easy explanation.
“I’m honored to have my work shown in my local backyard in tandem with many other talented artists I respect,” McGraw said. “I appreciate the collaboration with the Healdsburg Center for the Art and I hope the community is excited to come out and support the arts.”
David McGraw’s “Psychopop” will be featured alongside other selected artists: Dahlo (Marcela Cabrera), Tess Abts, Erika Adkins, Bev Barnett, Tara Belkin Harvey, Cynthia Brodie, Deborah Chaney, Sharon Crary, Alyson Dobbert, Dianne Jean Erickson, Kristine Goldberg, Beth Hall, Sarah Harvey, Ann Kalb-Kip, Debra Kreck-Harnish, Michelle Nishikatsu, Katy Parks Wilson, D. Mimi Read, Elizabeth Springs, Carol Tacconi, Deborah Titus, Chris Vetrano, Mike Wasden, Tara Yellen, Kay Young and Sabina Zildzic.
