Forestville, CA – Artist David I. McGraw, aka Davingy, has presented a $4,500 donation to the Sonoma County Fire District in support of essential community services.
The contribution reflects a shared commitment to giving back and supporting first responders, who play a critical role in protecting and serving Sonoma County residents. Davingy continues to demonstrate how creative initiatives and community engagement can come together to make a meaningful local impact.
The money presented to the Fire District originates from a fundraising event, including a silent auction, held at Davingy’s Orchard of Art last year. One of the auction’s anonymous winners decided to donate their new Davingy sculpture to a local non-profit organization, The Living Room, which offers support services for women and children.
The funds raised, now with the Fire District, will help support SCFD’s ongoing efforts, reinforcing resources that benefit public safety and emergency response services across the region.
This donation underscores the importance of collaboration between local businesses, artists, and community organizations in strengthening and supporting the communities they serve.
