San Francisco, CA – The Davingy Arts team is proud to announce that one of David McGraw’s 200+ paintings in his portfolio was on display at SOMArts at 934 Brannan St in San Francisco, CA as part of SF Open Studios.
ArtSpan’s 52nd SF Open Studios, the oldest and largest open studios event in the United States, hosted a Kick-Off Celebration on Friday, Sept. 18 from 7-10 pm, which featured Davingy’s Untitled painting from 1991.
The painting was on display from Sept. 19 through Sept. 27. From SOMArts’ website:
“The accompanying Preview Exhibition features the work of nearly half the artists who will be hosting open studio events through October 25, 2026. View hundreds of artworks in diverse mediums, celebrating the abundant creativity of the region.”
Davingy, who also participated in both SF Open Studios and Sonoma County Art Trails in October, had this to say about the honor:
“As I focused on my sculptural projects, I had considered my paintings forgotten work until recently so it brings me great joy to resurface these canvases that showcase an older part of my artistic journey. I hope that joy was shared by the art aficionados who visited SOMArts as part of their incredible work with ArtSpan and Open Studios.”
SF Open Studios ran from Sept. 18 through Oct. 25, 2026 with Davingy specifically participating on Oct. 10 & 11.
