It’s fun to imagine all the beaches these surfboards have seen, especially the one with the shark bite! Three funky, lanky, lopsided figures lean and stretch across Davingy’s Orchard of Art, each built from yellow strut-channel skeletons, a coiled silver duct "head," and a single fin of orange surfboard balanced like a sail. Davingy gives his trademark playfulness full rein here: Tres Knuckleheads is part insect, part windsurfer, part scarecrow. Whatever your interpretation, above all, it’s a trio of goofy, gangly characters caught mid-lean, as if the wind might topple them at any moment.
