Cool Rod

Browsing through heating deck stores in San Francisco, Davingy spotted an arrangement of air vents resembling a shiny donut. The shape inspired him to turn it on it’s side as a hot rod wheel. The frame is made of rebar, which is the skeleton to all Davingy’s pods. However, this pod exists without the fiberglass layer.

A heating‑duct “donut” is Cool Rod’s charged core, its metallic shine poised between garage‑built machinery and aeronautical relics. Silver wheels bracket a bright yellow rebar skeletal architecture. The yellow frame threads warmth through the industrial palette and the result is an object suspended between motion and stasis, a hybrid of hot‑rod swagger and futuristic myth.
