Davingy has always been interested with tires; in fact he could spend years just making tire pieces.

Repurposed motorcycle tires form a looping figure-eight geometry that merges vehicular grit with the surrounding natural landscape. Suspended in layered rows between towering poles, Black Rubber X forms create a rhythmic visual field that feels simultaneously architectural and playfully precarious. Davingy’s ongoing fascination with recycling is evident in the transformation of discarded materials into a dynamic sculptural language, revealing unexpected elegance within objects associated with motion, wear, and utility. Though unmistakably man-made, the repeated curves and hanging forms evoke organic patterns found in nature, allowing the work to oscillate between worlds.
