UFO

This one was shot up with a bow and arrow. It
was some old pieces that paired well together.

Suspended by near-invisible cables from a gnarled oak limb, a polished steel cylinder hovers between two woven wicker pods, like nacelles on a rustic spacecraft from an alternate timeline. UFO plays it straight-faced: it’s gleaming industrial metal flanked by basket-weave warmth, drifting against open sky as if it touched down briefly, mid-exploratory flight, to rest in the branches.
