Boulder Field

“Boulder Field” is Davingy’s largest spanning piece of work to date. Near the orchard you’ll see 27 boulders made of rubber and plaster. Together, they form a huge pyramid.

Boulder Field is composed of 27 red and black bright “boulders” posted at tiered elevations on a hill at Davingy’s Orchard of Art. Viewed from below, the satisfyingly organized assemblage creates a pyramid form.The artist, who has an avowed love of the triangle shape, calls this sprawling installation his most ambitious piece of art to date.
