Golden Dancer

An old sculpture given a new life via suspension. Now she is a
ballet dancer leaping through the air.

Golden Dancer repurposes elements of an older sculpture from Davingy’s early days in San Francisco’s Hunters Point. Centered around a golden abstraction of geometric forms, it is framed by an incomplete silver triangle, which adds substance and grounding definition. The hanging sculpture is free to twist and dance in the wind, recalling a ballerina in a music box.
